Faithful to Interface Tourism since 7 years!

In July 2001, AAA Hotels & Resorts (Eriyadu 3*, Vilamendhoo 3*, Filitheyo 4*, Medhufushi 5*) welcomed less than 1 % of French clientele : for this reason, AAA Hotels & Resorts chose Interface Tourism the same year as its permanent marketing representative, in order to reinforce their presence on the French market. Main strategy was to use a real creative and dynamic policy towards the trade (tour operating: generalists and niches on honeymoon and diving products…), with sales missions, fam tours, trade shows, travel agents trainings, mass emailing.

The other tool adopted was PR activities towards the up market leisure & tourism press as well as direct communication towards consumers, and advertising in partnership with TOs. Five years later, thanks to proactive yearly promotion programs AAA Hotels & Resorts is well recognized on the French market by the trade industry, travel press, but also the general public.

Unfortunately, in 2005, the tsunami deeply damaged the Medhufushi Island Resort. After 2 year of closing for reconstruction works, the resort reopened in January 2007 and recovered in a 6 month time the same level of recognition towards the French tourism industry, press and general public.

In 2006, willing to upgrade its global offer, AAA Hotels & Resorts sold its lowest ratted resorts in order to launch in 2008, its new luxury brand named Zitahli including 2 new luxury resorts : Zitahli Kuda-Funafaru Resort & Spa 5*Luxe and Zitahli Dholhiyadhoo Resort & Spa 5*Luxe (Respective opening : March 30th, May 30th 2008).

Thanks of the success of AAA resorts on the French market and of the long time confidence with the complete team, AAA Hotels & Resort renew their confidence by entrust to Interface Tourism the PR and marketing promotion of their new top luxury resorts. The promotion and sales development of the new brand Zitahli will exclusively target the luxury tourism industry and upscale tourism press, few of them have already chose to support them in this new adventure !
