The new technologies are becoming an important mean to get information and to book travels : 73 % of the Swiss households use Internet very regularly.
Development of the short breaks : an increase of the travels lasting between 4 and 7 overnights (37 % of the total travels).
Swiss tourists are faithful to several destinations and they prefer to organise their travels according to an activity.
