Born in Milan in 1984, Pilar got the Bachelor Degree in Tourism Management in 2005 and the MA in Arts and Culture Management in 2007, both at Libera Università di Lingue e Comunicazione IULM in Milan. During her studies she had to do two internships: the first one in 2004 in a hotel as a receptionist, which took to the BA thesis about emotional intelligence applied to the client; the second one in 2007 at the Italian Institute of Culture in Lubiana, Slovenia, where she collaborated to the realization of the “Giotto, Padova and the Scrovegni Chapple” exhibition. At the end she wrote the MA degree thesis about the market of culture in the new European Countries

Pilar always loved travelling: she went abroad to learn English every year since she was 12,  and during the university she agreed to the European Erasmus Project and spent seven months in Cádiz, Spain.

These experiences persuaded her to work in the field of tourism and events and now she is sure that working with Elena, Serena and all the Interface group will be a great opportunity.

She is a very practical person, hard-working and very enthusiastic in front of new challenges: she faces them with the irony that marks her.

Her hobbies and interests are travelling, taking photos, watching movies and listening to music, while her three favourite places are: home, the places she has been and the place she will visit in future.
